Twenty-four young children, some aged only two, were among 38 people shot and stabbed to death by a former police officer who went on a rampage at a nursery school in Thailand yesterday.
Video of the aftermath of the attack showed parents wailing and hugging each other after rushing to the scene of the atrocity in a small community in Nong Bua Lamphu province in the rural northeast.
