A man originally from Britain is reported to have been killed by a great white shark off the coast of Australia as his wife and adult children watched from the shore.
Paul Millachip, 57, a father of two, was in the sea off Port Beach in North Fremantle, Western Australia, when he was attacked on Saturday by a shark that witnesses said was about 15ft long.
Police said that they had ended their search. A pair of swimming goggles that are believed to have belonged to Millachip was the only thing to have been found. The goggles are due to be tested.
